Lensa is an open-source local MCP (Model Context Protocol) server that provides connectors and reusable skills to link ChatGPT and Claude to external applications through a single configurable gateway. The project bundles connectors for Clerk (handling users, sessions, organizations, memberships, invitations, domains, enterprise connections and access actions) and Vercel (managing projects, deployments, logs, environment variables, domains, DNS, team membership and deployment actions), with a documented model for adding further connectors. Beyond individual tools, Lensa packages discoverable workflows-skills that combine connector tools into higher-level operations such as Clerk login automation, access investigations, Vercel deployment diagnosis, incident triage, and production change workflows. The project is designed for local, single-user deployment: users clone the repository, populate a credentials file for each service they wish to connect, configure which tools and skills are exposed in a lightweight YAML file, and run Lensa as a local MCP client without any hosted or authenticated service. Lensa is under active development at version 0.1.0, published under the MIT license, and supports ChatGPT via an OpenAI Secure MCP Tunnel ID alongside native Claude MCP integration.
